As Chief Executive Officer of Reflex Technology Group, Dean leads with a clear vision: simplifying complexity and enabling growth for education and other organisations. With more than three decades of experience across finance, education, and technology, he brings deep expertise in strategic planning and operational excellence.

Since joining RTG in 2011, Dean has driven transformation through innovation and trusted partnerships, guiding the business to deliver secure, future-ready solutions that empower clients to thrive in a rapidly changing digital landscape. Beyond RTG, Dean contributes to national conversations on small business finance as a Member of the Reserve Bank of Australia’s Advisory Panel, reinforcing a commitment to strong governance and sector leadership.

Bea McDonald is the Chief Customer Officer at Reflex Technology Group (RTG), where she leads the Customer Services team across all RTG locations. As part of RTG’s Executive Leadership Team, Bea helps shape strategic direction and cultivate a culture of growth, wellbeing and high performance, ensuring RTG remains a trusted partner to schools and organisational leaders across Australia.

With deep expertise in customer experience, change management and digital transformation, Bea is known for building strong, enduring relationships with clients and internal teams. Her leadership is grounded in a people-first philosophy, empowering staff with the tools, support and clarity they need to deliver measurable outcomes and drive continuous improvement.

Bea has been instrumental in aligning schools’ technology roadmaps with their strategic goals, helping education leaders navigate complex change with confidence. Before joining RTG, she led product, pricing and customer programs in service-focused organisations across Australia and New Zealand, including financial services. She brings a practical, strategic lens to every conversation, drawing on her experience leading Lean Six Sigma transformation initiatives that balance innovation with empathy and outcomes with culture.

Mel Gillies, a certified Lead Auditor for the global information security standard ISO 27001, leads the strategy and delivery of RTG’s risk, security and data consulting services. As part of RTG’s executive leadership team, she supports organisations across Australia to strengthen their security posture and navigate complex regulatory requirements with clarity and confidence.

Mel’s background spans education, cybersecurity and digital transformation, with extensive experience working alongside schools, not for profits and local government agencies. Since 2020, She has led security assessments and audits that have helped many organisations strengthen their risk posture, equipping leadership teams with actionable insights that shape tailored, effective information security programs that meet an organisation’s governance and compliance needs. Several Victorian councils and now contributes to managed service programs for local government clients in South Australia.

Before joining RTG, Mel held advisory and training roles supporting schools through the Alannah and Madeline Foundation’s eSmart framework and collaborated with educators nationally on digital safety and professional learning initiatives. This role, combined with her consulting expertise, gives Mel a practical and people‑focused approach to helping leaders manage risk, uplift capability and make informed decisions about the future.

Bhagath Gowda is RTG’s Head of Applications and Data Solutions, leading the strategy and delivery of enterprise platforms and data ecosystems that drive smarter, more secure and increasingly AI‑enabled operations. With over 20 years of global experience, he focuses on helping organisations achieve operational excellence through practical, scalable and intelligent technology solutions.

Since joining RTG in 2018, Bhagath has played a key role in shaping the company’s digital transformation agenda. He has progressed through major leadership roles and is known for translating complex business challenges into clear, high‑impact technical roadmaps. He now oversees the Applications and Data Solutions/Projects teams, cultivating a culture of proactive support, innovation and delivery excellence.

Bhagath is embedding automation and intelligent tooling into IT operations to streamline workflows, improve efficiency and elevate the employee experience. His modern workplace vision has driven the release of several products, including SaaS offerings that support staff well‑being and centralised resource management.

Prior to RTG, Bhagath held technical and leadership roles with global IT leaders, building deep expertise in Oracle development, database architecture and ETL processes across major projects in India, Europe and New Zealand.

David Keane serves as General Manager of Operations at RTG, where he oversees the seamless execution of daily delivery operations while strategically positioning the organisation for sustainable, long-term growth. Leveraging broad expertise in operations, technology, and customer service gained across both Australia and the United States, David emphasises streamlined and transparent processes, consistently reliable service, and tools that empower teams to deliver their best performance.

Before joining RTG in 2025, David served as Director of Information Technology at Saint Therese, a not-for-profit aged care and senior living organisation in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Prior to that, he spent more than a decade as Director of Service Operations at North Country Business Products, a for-profit provider of innovative point-of-sale (POS) solutions, retail technology systems, hospitality solutions, and managed IT services.

This mix of operational discipline and practical IT expertise helps David create environments where staff are supported, clients are looked after and RTG can continue to evolve with confidence.

Shilpa is the People and Culture Manager at Reflex Technology Group, where she champions an environment that enables people to do their best work and grow with confidence. With experience spanning education, learning and development, and human resources, she brings a balanced mix of empathy, clarity and practical leadership to her role.

Shilpa began her career supporting students and staff at Yarra Valley Grammar School before moving into learning and development and HR business partnering at Infosys, where she strengthened her capability in building high‑performing teams and supporting organisational change. Since joining RTG in 2022, she has played a pivotal role in shaping a positive employee experience, supporting leaders, and nurturing a culture grounded in collaboration and shared purpose.
