- Act as a primary contact for application and database support for RTG clients, delivering responsive, professional service
- Troubleshoot, prioritise and resolve application and data‑related support requests across multiple platforms
- Provide database administration, reporting, and application support, ensuring data accuracy and consistency
- Develop, maintain and enhance reports using SQL, Crystal Reports, SSRS and related tools
- Support and maintain integrations across key education systems and LMS platforms including Synergetic, Schoolbox, SIMON, Seqta, Canvas and timetabling solutions
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors and service providers to resolve complex issues and improve system outcomes
- Document solutions, processes and project work clearly and thoroughly
- Participate in client projects, including application enhancements, integrations and system improvements
- Develop system procedures and training materials to support end users
- Stay curious about emerging technologies and contribute ideas to improve RTG’s service offerings
Who you are:
You’re a detail‑oriented, service‑driven technologist who enjoys working closely with customers and turning complex data and systems into reliable, usable solutions. You communicate clearly, take ownership of issues, and thrive in a collaborative environment.You’ll bring:- Experience in Level 1–2 application support within a client‑focused or managed services environment
- Strong capability in database management and administration, including writing SQL/MS queries
- Experience developing and supporting reports using Crystal Reports, SSRS or similar tools
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear, user‑friendly way
- Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills
- Experience supporting SaaS applications and working across multiple systems
Desirable (but not essential):
- Experience in the education sector
- Familiarity with Synergetic, SIMON or Schoolbox
- Exposure to APIs, Power Platform or PowerShell
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint or Azure
- Experience with C#/.NET, HTML/CSS or system integrations
